Begin again, in a new environment, very different from that which we left 2 years ago.
Much has changed internally and externally, shifted, and our relationship to our world has as well.
As we re-Emerge in to this new world, unmasked (metaphorically, anyway), reconnecting with other bodies, we invite you to engage in a ritual of movement….honoring our paths that have lead here and honoring all we hold…..the excitement, fear, anticipation, ambivalence, and who we are today….individually and collectively.
Our bodies became accustomed to hiding behind masks, staying distant, quarantining from each other, perhaps at times feeling like we had disappeared from community.
We invite you to emerge into this space on these days slowly, allowing the movement of hesitations, concerns, even fears. We’ll hold those tenderly as we also include our hopes for connection moving forward, to return to the collective, to being together.

Shaken and stirred by years of falling down and getting back up, Michael Z has studied with Zuza Engler, Michael Molin-Skelton, Vincent Martínez-Grieco and Kathy Altman, among others, and has been leading Soul Motion™ classes and workshops since becoming certified to teach in 2010. What he aspires to teach is what he desires to learn: the art of being alive in a human body, in the company of others.
Lynne’s work is informed by her 20 years as a psychotherapist and her extensive training with somatic and mindfulness principles....most particularly Soul Motion, where she is currently in a teacher training.
Lynne longed to bring more life to her work....by attending to the body and all that it holds, particularly in community. She sees her work as a natural bridge from a clinical lens to a more fully embodied way of working with heart, soul, and body all as necessary partners in healing. Weaving inquiry with music and guiding her participants to move in a way that their body yearns for, Soul in Motion (her business in Bend, Oregon) welcomes everyone...whether they call themselves a "dancer" or not.
We look forward to moving with you!
If finances are an issue that will prevent you from attending, please reach out to Lynne.
