It's time! Have you felt at war with your body? Ashamed, even? Has it been a relationship that has been rife with conflict, judgement, and coercion? Have you been frustrated with getting older, losing your spark, perhaps even given up on finding peace with yourself? You're not alone, and there is another way (that doesn't actually involve changing anything).
It's about diving in to a practice that will support you to find some ease, joy, and compassion for yourself exactly as you are. You may even feel some glimmers of love return as I will guide you to Tend and Befriend your body while you connect with a supportive group of like-minded women.
Feel more connected with, aware of, and grateful for all that lives within you....a wonderous place that has always accompanied you with an endless supply of gifts and love (I know you may be uncomfortable with those words....all the more evidence that you're exactly who I'm looking for!).

Sessions will be primarily experiential and will include: guided movement, meditation, dance, journaling or drawing, community discussion, and homework between our meetings.
Group size will be limited, and all who register are encouraged to attend all five sessions. It will not be recorded. No experience necessary (awkward dancers, first time groovers, and those with no rhythm.....you will be fully embraced!!)

I invite you to Google the phrase Tend and Befriend....it's a fabulous discovery of a response to stress that occurs primarily with women, rather than fight or flight (discovered by a woman). The reason I chose this name is two-fold....it's about the relationship of you and your body as well as the community we will create with this circle of women. Relationships are healing...I'll be capitalizing on that concept!
